George Foreman's Daily QuotesJuly 15 · I never knew what a great day Friday was, until I realized Boxing had lost such a great friend, Pernell "Sweetpea" Whitaker; ( He was with us on Friday) Hit by a car, In his hometown. I watched him train in Houston preparation for a fight, This little guy moved like a Cat. Nothing done off balance. But most importantly Pernell had this disarming smile. We had some brief moments together. He was so polite; our Sport of boxing will truly miss him. Love and best wishes to the Whitaker family.
